Kate has spent the last 18 years using her background in strategy, design thinking, and market research to help clients excel in the marketplace. As a Senior Engagement Manager in Deloitte Consulting's Strategy practice, Kate helped clients identify and exploit market opportunities and develop compelling go to market strategies aligned with their internal capabilities and relative competitive positioning. She has worked with a range of clients, from startups to Fortune 100 in a variety of sectors and industries. Kate holds an MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business and a BA in Biopsychology and Economics from Vassar College.

Kathleen F. Morales
Partner, Sierra Strategy Group

Kathleen comes to Sierra Strategy Group with 17 years of global experience in healthcare, medicine, and research in the US Federal Government - NIH, CDC, and the US State Department.  Her experience spans basic scientific research, clinical trials and drug development, public health and health systems coordination, and healthcare and research partnership development.  Her excellent research and management skills combine with innovative, resourceful, and creative problem solving due in part to years living and working in resource poor settings. Kathleen holds an MSc from the University of London's School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the London School of Economics.  She holds undergraduate degrees in Biology and Communications from the University of Texas at Austin.
